ADVANCED HYPNOSIS COURSE

    H-103 WICS Course One

A. Objective: This course is designed for the student who has successfully completed the Basic Hypnosis training program. Students are given a broader overview of the history of hypnosis and how it has evolved. They will learn how to match the client to the therapy by selecting the most effective script.

E. Description: Students are given an overview of the evolution of hypnosis through the ages. Hypnosis efficacy as a behavioral modification tool is addressed. The student is introduced to Neurolinguistic Programming, the science of how people think. Lecture is given on its application and how to facilitate changing bad habits in less time than by using conventional methods. Additional scripts for inductions and mental relaxation using compounding and guided imagery are given, described and practiced. Stress relief and weight loss techniques are explained . Various forms which may be used in setting up a practice, billing clients, and dealing with insurance companies are discussed.

F. Teaching Methods: The class instruction will include theory, lecture, class discussion, video presentations, practice sessions video tapped and critiqued by students and instructors, student demonstration, and small group activities.

G. Testing: Students will be asked to demonstrate all of the techniques learned at appropriate times during the day, every day. Students will also be required to take and pass a written examination at the completion of the course.

H-104 WICS Course Two

A. Objective: This course builds on the foundation established by H-101, H-102, and H-103. This is for the person who is seriously committed to this profession and wants to become highly confident and effective using direct suggestion methods of hypnotism.

B. Course hours: Theory 35 - Practice/lab 15 - Total 50 Documented homework hours: Total 75

E. Description: Students are given the knowledge and techniques necessary to work confidently with regression hypnosis, hypnoanalysis and hypnotherapy. It includes step-by-step instruction on how to teach your clients to control or eliminate pain with very little effort. Students will learn many transformational techniques, such as parts therapy, to aid clients in replacing negative feelings with positive feelings. They will develop the knowledge to empower their clients to make desired changes in their lives.
