H-105 ICMCH Course One

A. Objective: The objective of this course is designed for the who successfully completed the Master Hypnosis training program. The student should posses a basic and intermediate knowledge of utilizing direct suggestion hypnotic techniques. Students are given a different perspective approach to understanding hypnosis. They will learn modification of various techniques and how to implement them for use with their client.

B. Course hours: Theory 10 - Practice/lab 20 - Total 30

E. Description: Students are given a brief overview and definitions of hypnosis. Lecture is given on the areas of application for behavior modification through the use of hypnosis. Ethical practice is addressed and rapport with the client is explained. The students are introduced to a different style of hypnosis technique. The theory and application for this different approach in method is explained. Sitting and supine position of client for the use of these techniques are explained. Additional scripts for inductions and mental relaxation using compounding and a variation in number counting is given, described and practiced.

F. Teaching Methods: The class instructions will include theory, lecture, class discussion, practice sessions video taped and critiqued by students and instructors, student demonstrations , and small group activities.

G. Testing: Students will be asked to demonstrate all of the techniques learned at appropriate times during the class. Students will also be required to take and pass a written examination at the completion of each course.

H-106 ICMCH Course Two

 

A. Objective: This course builds on the foundation learned in H-105. It also introduces the student to a broader range of techniques and methods. They will learn various suggestibility, induction, and deepen of the hypnotic state, techniques. They will be taught when and how to use them in various combinations with their client to achieve greater results.

B. Course hours: Theory 20 - Practice/lab 30 - Total 50

E. Description: This course contains more techniques and methods for induction, suggestion formation, deepening of the hypnotic state. Included are step-by-step instructions with various techniques and methods needed to aid the client in achieving a more profound state. Students will learn how to teach the client self-hypnosis, and utilize various levels of depth to enable the client in achieving his goals. They will develop the knowledge of hypnotic depth testing, it effects and what is necessary to guide the client to a more profound state. The student will learn to recognize characteristics of depth and how to formulate suggestions necessary to aid the client.

F. Teaching Methods: The class instructions will include theory, lecture, class discussion, video presentation, practice sessions video taped and critiqued by students and instructors, student demonstrations, and small group activities.

G. Testing: Students will be asked to demonstrate all of the techniques learned at appropriate times during the day, every day. Students will also be required to take and pass a written examination at the completion of each course.
